This teaching unit belongs to the subject of physical education, yes your read right, PE. - But Maria we thought you wanted to be an English teacher!- I know, I know...
But given the fact that my tutor at school is a PE teacher, I found it interesting and logic to base my teaching sequence in such subject. I could benefit from her experience and knowledge and learn a lot. In addition to that, I believe that, as a Language teacher I will not have many opportunities of being in a PE class, it being in CLIL or not. Therefore this is a great chance of experiencing being both a CLIL and a PE teacher, at least for once in my life. Moreover, I may find myself teaching in a school in which the English teacher co-teaches with the PE teacher and so I will need to have some skills on the subject.
